Beautiful location., Great food, top servis. You are served very nicely in the low light you can enjoy the sun By far the best that hemmersdorf has to offer

So we had already spent a few nice hours in the Wacken Mühle. ☺ The food was good and the service was very friendly😄

The location of the restaurant is really very nice and idyllic. The perfect place to linger after a nice walk in the area. The food was okay, but unfortunately not anymore. And they take it very seriously when the kitchen is open, which is not exactly customer-friendly.

Apparently caught a bad day from the kitchen on Sunday. One hour of waiting for the praised half chicken is excessive. The dressing in the salad was vinegar / oil based and too sour. The turkey strips with the champions were cooked rather than fried. The service was friendly and quick

The location on the Nied is of course great, the fact that the bar is a bit "old-fashioned" is not a problem either. The food was not good though. We had ordered steaks that were brought to the table almost completely raw. After we complained about this, it was made again and afterwards it was good. As compensation, there was a free schnapps. Instead of vegetables we wanted salad, but unfortunately this request could not be fulfilled. We did not understand the reason for this. The dessert (ice cream) was very good. Most of the other guests have ordered chicken, which seems to be the big hit there. I wouldn't go back to dinner, but I'd like to have an ice cream and a coffee

The photos of delicious dishes had nothing to do with what was offered to us today at lunchtime from the already significantly reduced menu. That was french fries level. After all: the mill is beautifully located on the Nied. The rest is a tragedy. Too bad.

Beautiful place on the banks of the Nied, you can have a drink, eat, enjoy the beach and go pedal boating!

Nice to take a break and have a beer ... However the food was underground ... We had the salad that was just bad ... Very bad sauce, mini small portion with carelessly laid out schnitzel strips. For a whopping 12 euros. And a friend had waited forever for her noodles only to find a hair in the middle of the meal in 3 bites. Not to forget the baguette that was totally dry and had been cut there for a few hours. A shame .... We were looking forward to good food .. Now we also know why almost everyone else ate a chicken .. This is apparently okay ..

The location directly on the Nied is absolutely unique. Nice terrace. Enjoy your meal. Great Paulaner draft. The toilets should, however, be refurbished in the next few years.

We were there for lunch today with 5 people .... it was very, very tasty ... the service was very friendly and accommodating .... even when our daughter broke her glass .... we will definitely come back .... 👍👍👍

The food is good and the half chicken is great. Price-performance ratio in order, staff nice and competent. We would love to come back.

However, after the mistake was corrected, I could not be satisfied .. If I hadn't been there with my own family, I would have given my plate back again, because no attention was paid to which steak belonged to whom ... In addition, everything tasted bland ... Were in the low light today, belongs to the Wackenmühle and is a kind of beach bar behind the actual restaurant with two access stairs to the Nied. Unfortunately, little to no parking spaces and accordingly, with a lot of crowds, absolute chaos. Very nice place without table service, but ice cream and drinks at the kiosk. I found the deck chairs uncomfortable, but there are plastic chairs as an alternative. The umbrellas wobble quite a bit and were absolutely essential for survival today (38 degrees). You can also rent a pedal boat there (pictures of this tour).

The restaurant benefits greatly from the great location. However, a service employee for all tables is far too little. The day pass is very small, but it was enough for us. We were also met with something (pasta for a broker). The food was ok but didn't make us rave about it.

We had taken a bike tour to Wackenmühle on July 22nd, 2020 and looked forward to a leisurely lunch. Unfortunately, the visit was a disaster. At first the waitress had silted up our order. When we asked where our food was after an hour we were told in 10 minutes it would be time. After another half an hour our food was still not there. The waitress reacted rather helplessly to another complaint and said they couldn't explain it. After a hour and a half, we finally paid for our drinks without food and went back home hungry. This is the 2nd time that this has happened to me in this restaurant. I can only advise everyone against a visit. I will never go back there.
